2014 Highlights

2014 - What a weekend it was!!!

Thank you to everyone involved and especially to all of you who visited from Didcot, Abingdon, Wallingford, Thame, London, Lincolnshire, Reading, Henley, Wantage and elsewhere near and far. The weather was fantastic considering the forecast and the odd drop of rain.

The food, drink, music, cooking demos and the site combined to create a wonderful atmosphere. The apetite for the festival is growing and we welcomed nearly 5000 visitors! A great achievement after only four years!

So the site is now clear and it looks bear. The festival will be working through the successes of the weekend and working on areas to improve. We are grateful for all the wonderful comments from our producers and our visitors. The one message that is loud and clear is that the festival should return in 2015!

The Wallingford Food Festival is pleased to announce that this years festival is the weekend of the 16th and 17th of May at the Bridge Villas Campsite.

Yes, two days to try, taste, buy, enjoy and learn about all of the fabulous local food and drink available.

We have worked hard to build the festival for this year and we are convinced we will have an exciting and interesting festival for you. Working with the producers and many of the local businesses we think we have something for everyone!

We had over 60 producers join us and we hope to exceed that number this year. This means that we will have a full range of quality locally produced food and drink available for you to try and buy! You can pre-order and pay for tickets online.  Just go to the  page.

With over 450 local food and drink producers in Oxfordshire. The festival showcases many of these passionate producers. Come and see for yourself!
